Compatibility

Is my phone compatible?

Most phones sold in the last few years support eSIM.

eSIM support can vary by country and carrier version. If your phone shows Add eSIM in Settings, it will work.

To use an AfriEsim, your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. The quickest check: on iPhone open Settings → General → About and look for an Available SIM or EID. On Android open Settings → Connections / Network → SIM manager and look for Add eSIM.

iPhone: iPhone XS, XR and every model since support eSIM.

Samsung: Galaxy S20 and newer, Z Flip and Z Fold, and many A series phones.

Google Pixel: Pixel 3 and newer (some carrier variants excepted).

If your phone shows an “Add eSIM” option, you are ready to go.
