Reseller Terms

Last updated November 2026. AfriEsim is operated by FLEXYCOM SAS.

These terms apply to every business that sells AfriEsim eSIMs through the reseller API or the reseller portal. They add to the Terms of Service. Where the two differ for reseller orders, these terms win.

1. Your account

You apply at afriesim.net/reseller/signup. A new account starts in sandbox mode with a test API key. Sandbox orders return pretend eSIMs that never install and cost nothing. We review every application by hand and may decline one without giving a reason. Once approved, your account is live and you can create live keys.

You confirm that you are a business, that the details you gave are true, and that you will keep them up to date in the portal.

2. Prepaid wallet

Live orders are paid from a prepaid wallet in US dollars. You top up by bank transfer or PayPal; we credit the wallet when the money arrives. An order is refused when the balance does not cover it. Wallet money is not interest bearing and is not a deposit. An unused balance can be paid back on request, less any bank fees, within 30 days of closing the account.

3. Prices and tiers

Your price is the retail price shown on afriesim.net less your tier discount: Starter 12%, Growth 15%, Volume 20%. We may agree a different discount or a minimum price per eSIM with you in writing. Retail prices change with network costs, so the price you pay is the one returned by the API at the moment the order is placed. You set your own selling price to your customers.

4. Orders and delivery

Every order needs a unique partner_ref from you. Sending the same reference again returns the same order and never charges twice. An eSIM is delivered as an ICCID, an activation code and a QR code in the API answer and in the portal. You are responsible for passing them to your customer safely. An eSIM profile can be installed once.

If our network cannot issue an eSIM, the unit is refunded to your wallet at once. A unit still being allocated completes within minutes or is refunded.

5. Refunds

An eSIM that was never installed can be cancelled for a full refund to the wallet, through the API or the portal. Once an eSIM has been installed on a phone there is no refund, unless the eSIM never worked at the destination for a reason on our side. In that case send a refund request from the portal with the details; we check with the network and decide within three working days. Plans that include a phone number cannot be refunded or cancelled once ordered. Refunds always go to the wallet, never to a card or bank.

6. Your customers

You sell to your customers in your own name and you handle their support. You must tell them, before they buy, which devices are compatible, that the plan is data only unless stated, when validity starts, and what the fair use rules are. We give you the same information on each plan in the catalogue. We do not contact your customers unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

7. API keys and security

API keys are yours to protect. Keep them on your server, never in an app, a web page or a public repository. Anything done with your key is your order and is charged to your wallet. Revoke a key in the portal the moment you think it has leaked. Webhook payloads are signed; check the signature before acting on one.

Stay within the rate limit shown in the docs. Do not scrape the catalogue more often than once an hour; it changes rarely.

8. Fair use and abuse

eSIMs are for ordinary personal and business use by travellers. You may not use them, or let your customers use them, for spam, fraud, illegal content, machine to machine traffic, or anything that breaks a local network's rules. We may suspend an eSIM, a key or the whole account without notice when we see abuse, fraud, chargeback patterns or a risk to the network. Wallet money is kept for you unless the abuse caused us a loss.

9. Our brand

You may say that your eSIMs are "powered by AfriEsim" or say nothing about us at all. You may not use the AfriEsim name or logo in a way that suggests you are AfriEsim, and you may not register domains or social accounts containing our name.

10. Availability and liability

We aim for the API to be available at all times but we do not promise it. Networks, countries and plans can be withdrawn at any time; an order placed before a change is honoured. Our liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the eSIM concerned. We are not liable for lost profit or for what your customers claim from you.

11. Ending the agreement

Either side can end this agreement with 30 days notice by email. We can end it at once for a breach of these terms. eSIMs already sold keep working for their validity. Any wallet balance is settled as described in section 2.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. We email you at least 14 days before a change that affects prices or refunds. Using the API after that date means you accept the new terms.
